How much do Housecall Pro and Jobber cost in 2026?
Both publish their prices. Housecall Pro sells three plans with users included: Basic for 1 user, Essentials for 5 and Max for 8, with extra users on Max at $35 a month each.1 Jobber sells four plans (Core, Connect, Grow and Plus) in 1, 5, 10 and 15 user sizes, and extra users at $29 a month each.2 Here is what each costs at common team sizes, list price, read on Oct 19, 2026. Jobber counts a user as anyone who logs in at the office or in the field.2
| Team | Housecall Pro, monthly (yearly) | Jobber, monthly (yearly prepaid) |
|---|---|---|
| 1 user | Basic: $79 ($59) | Core $49 ($29) Connect $139 ($99) Grow $199 ($149) |
| 5 users | Essentials: $189 ($149) | Connect $199 ($149) Grow $299 ($229) Plus $499 ($399) |
| 10 users | Max + 2 users: $399 ($369) | Connect $299 ($229) Grow $399 ($299) Plus $599 ($449) |
| 15 users | Max + 7 users: $574 ($544) | Connect $399 ($299) Grow $499 ($399) Plus $699 ($529) |
Monthly means billed month to month. Yearly means billed for a year, shown per month. Housecall Pro's 10 and 15 user prices add extra users to Max at the listed $35 a month; Basic and Essentials list no extra users. Jobber's Core plan is one user only, and its Plus plan starts at 5. Prices exclude sales tax, card fees, add-ons and promotions. Jobber was offering new customers up to 40% off through October 30, 2026.1,2
Jobber also offers a monthly plan with a one-year commitment, priced between the two columns above (Core $39, Grow for one user $169).2 Housecall Pro says it doesn't require long-term contracts, and it lists card processing "as low as 2.59%" and a 1% fee on bank payments.1 Ask Jobber for its processing rates on a quote.
Is Jobber cheaper than Housecall Pro?
For one person, yes: Jobber Core is $49 a month billed monthly against $79 for Housecall Pro Basic.1,2 At five users the two are close ($189 for Essentials, $199 for Jobber Connect). At 15 users Jobber Grow lists at $499 a month and Housecall Pro Max at about $574 once seven extra users are added.1,2
The sticker price hides what you'll add. Each one keeps features an owner-run trade shop uses on higher plans or as add-ons:
- Housecall Pro lists Recurring Service Plans (maintenance agreements), route optimization and its sales proposal tool on Max, and routes on Essentials. Price book, job costing, online booking and review management are on every plan. Call tracking is an add-on with no published price.1,4
- Jobber puts job costing, optional line items on quotes and two-way texting on Grow, and custom reports, Pipeline, Marketing Suite and an AI receptionist on Plus. As add-ons it lists the receptionist at $29 a month, Pipeline at $49 and Marketing Suite at $99. Its pricing page doesn't list call tracking.2
So price the plan you'd actually run, with the add-ons, at the headcount you expect in a year.
How does each one report booked jobs by lead source?
This is where the two differ most for an owner who wants to know which marketing books jobs. Both can do it. Neither does it unless every customer and job carries a source, and that's where shops slip: in 2026 ad-account data from 10 multi-location home services groups, 39% of closed revenue had a source label that named no channel, and where a channel was named, one dollar in four pointed to the wrong one.3
| Question | Housecall Pro | Jobber |
|---|---|---|
| Where the source lives | On the customer, and on each job, estimate and lead5 | On the client (Lead Source field)6 |
| Calls tagged automatically | Tracking numbers tied to a lead source, sold as an add-on4 | Through CallRail's integration, which adds source, medium and campaign to each client, on select plans7 |
| Web forms tagged automatically | Not described in the articles we read; ask | UTM tags from request forms and online booking, saved as the lead source8 |
| Local Services Ads bookings | Not described in the articles we read; ask | Booking integration fills in "Google" as the lead source9 |
| Marketing spend | Entered by source and month in Marketing > Dashboard5 | No spend entry in the articles we read; keep it in a scorecard |
| The report | ROI table: spend, new customers, new jobs, jobs scheduled, job revenue, ROI, ROAS; cost per job as an extra column5 | Lead source report: leads, leads with a job, first-invoice value. Clients report: jobs and invoice totals per client with source and UTM columns10,11 |
Two details change how you read the numbers. Housecall Pro's ROI table can read the source saved on the customer or the source on each job, and it shows blanks as "No lead source," which makes the gap easy to see.5 Jobber's lead source report counts only the first invoice linked to each lead, so a repair that turns into a replacement later shows as the repair.10 For lifetime revenue by source in Jobber, export the clients report and total it by lead source.11
Whichever you run, the booked job is the number to watch. In Housecall Pro that's the jobs scheduled column; in Jobber, leads with a job. Our free cost per booked job calculator turns spend and booked jobs by source into one number per source.
How do you set up lead sources so either one reports booked jobs?
- Keep the source list short. Eight or fewer, with the same names in the software, your call tracking and your monthly scorecard: Google Maps, Local Services Ads, Google Ads, website, referral and repeat, lead marketplaces, mailers, other.
- Tag web leads with UTMs. Jobber saves UTM tags from its request form and online booking as the lead source.8 Put utm_source on every ad and profile link that points at your booking page.
- Make the source required at booking for anything untracked, and keep repeat customers and members on their own line.
- Check it monthly. Count records with no source and fix them before you judge a channel.
Our field service software guide covers the same setup for ServiceTitan, Workiz and the pest platforms, with published prices for 11 platforms.
HVAC: which handles maintenance plans and replacement estimates better?
Maintenance members and system replacements carry most of an HVAC shop's value. In our trade value model a booked HVAC call is worth about $1,250 on the first job, against $375 for a typical repair: about 4% of AC repair calls end in an $11,000 replacement, and replacement and "hvac company" searches are worth more per call than repair searches.12
- Memberships. Housecall Pro lists Recurring Service Plans for maintenance agreements on Max ($299 a month billed yearly, $329 monthly).1 Jobber handles recurring work as recurring jobs with visits on a schedule and billing per visit or a fixed price per period; its help center doesn't say which plans include them.13 Ask Jobber to show a membership set up with renewals and member pricing.
- Replacement quotes. Housecall Pro's sales proposal tool (side-by-side options with images) is on Max. Jobber's optional line items for good, better and best quotes start on Grow.1,2
- Reporting. Jobber's first-invoice rule undercounts a source whose repair calls turn into replacements months later, so report sold replacements by source from the clients report.10,11
Our HVAC maintenance agreement calculator shows what each member is worth before you choose a plan tier.
Plumbing: which fits emergency calls and flat-rate pricing?
Plumbing lives on the phone. A booked emergency plumbing call is worth about $801 on the first job in our model, against $567 for the average plumbing call.12 Both platforms sell help with calls: Jobber lists an AI receptionist for calls and texts at $29 a month (included on Plus), and Housecall Pro describes CSR AI that answers calls and books jobs, with no price on its pricing page.1,2 Test either one on a real after-hours call before you rely on it.
For flat-rate pricing, Housecall Pro lists a price book on every plan. Jobber's pricing page doesn't mention a price book; it lists optional line items from Grow.1,2 Our plumbing flat-rate pricing calculator sets the hourly rate behind the prices, whichever platform holds them. Tag emergency and after-hours jobs so you can see which sources bring them.
Pest control: can either one run recurring routes?
Pest control earns on the plan. A booked general pest call is worth about $179 on the first visit and $404 over 12 months in our model.12 Both platforms schedule recurring jobs.13,14 Housecall Pro lists routes on Essentials and route optimization plus Recurring Service Plans on Max.1 Jobber describes route optimization for daily or weekly routes on its pricing page without naming the plan.2
Once a pest company runs several routes with hundreds of quarterly accounts, check the pest platforms too (FieldRoutes, PestPac, GorillaDesk, Briostack), which price by route or by active customers; our field service software guide lists what they publish. Whatever you run, report new recurring accounts and cancels in the first 90 days by the source that sold them. The pest control customer value calculator puts a number on one plan customer.
Garage door: what matters when most calls are springs and openers?
Both vendors publish a garage door page.15,16 The work is mostly fast repairs (springs, openers, sensors) with some new doors, and booking rates run low: garage door and water treatment booked 31% of calls in ServiceTitan's June 2022 data.17 What matters is online booking and quick estimates, which both list, and a clean split between spring repairs and installs in the reports.1,2
If you run Local Services Ads, Jobber's booking integration fills the lead source with "Google" for new clients who book from your ad; it requires LSA, which for garage door companies includes Google's advanced verification.9 Leave spam and wrong-number calls out of your lead counts, or a busy source will look like it books poorly.
Which one fits a 5, 15 or 40 person shop?
For a shop of 5 to 15 people, both work, and the choice usually comes down to the plan you'd need. A five-person HVAC shop that sells memberships lands on Housecall Pro Max ($329 monthly) or Jobber Grow at 5 users ($299 monthly), close enough that the trial should decide it.1,2
Past 15 users, both move to custom pricing conversations: Jobber shows "Let's chat" for larger teams, and Housecall Pro Max adds users at $35 a month.1,2 Many 30 to 50 person shops also look at platforms priced per technician; our field service software guide covers what those publish.
Each one offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card: Housecall Pro gives access to Max and Jobber to Grow.1,2 Use the trial to book three real jobs end to end, tag their sources, and pull the report you'd read every month.
What does it take to switch between Housecall Pro and Jobber?
Most of the cost is time: moving customers, equipment and job history, rebuilding the price book and forms, and training the office and techs. Switch in a slow month (spring or fall for HVAC, winter for pest control) and avoid going live in a heat wave or a cold snap.
Before you move, export every customer with their lead source and first job date. Source history is the first thing lost in a migration, and without it you can't compare this year's sources with last year's. If you're switching only to get better marketing reports, try the setup above on your current platform first.

How we compiled this guide: on Oct 19, 2026 we read Housecall Pro's and Jobber's pricing pages and recorded list prices for each plan and team size, without promotions. Feature placement by plan comes from those pages; where a page doesn't name the plan, we say so. Reporting and setup details come only from each vendor's help center or product updates, dated by article. Team-size prices for Housecall Pro above 8 users add the listed $35 extra-user price to Max. The lead-source accuracy figures come from 2026 ad-account data covering 10 multi-location groups, which are larger than most owner-run shops. Booked call values come from our trade value model (v1.0, October 2026, base case).12 Isoline Growth has no partnerships, referral fees or affiliate links with any vendor named.
